The mud wasn't too bad this year but the rain! Sheesh.. I think it rained for 30+ days straight. The sun is shining now though so I won't complain. Winter is Lonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg but I love the fire place so we deal. It did get old in late Feb/early March. Now it's black fly season.... joy of joys.... ah well.. it's not a home it's an adventure Nan

Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. How do you like the mud/spring season this year?

So sorry to learn that Greg had an accident almost broke his finger by a log, but it surely is extremely painful, hope the doctor gave him some medicines to ease the pain, I pray that he is going to get better soon.Good Luck with your shows at Seattle and San Francisco.Love to all, Mom

Wow I haven't posted here in ages.....
Shame on me! Apparently the time has flown by...... Life has been moving along here in Maine. I got 4 new quail last week and they are as cute as can be. One of our ducks got attacked by something and now we are down to just one poor little guy. Life in Maine can be hard on the domestic animals; we lost 2 cats this fall as well.
We're gearing up for the holidays much, as I imagine, you are. It's getting a tad cold here but that's to be expected seeing as how this IS Maine. We have 3 shows back to back over the next three weekends so we'll be pretty busy and ready for a break about Thanksgiving time!
I've started to write a new blog today called The Craft Life and it's purpose is to help others who want to start their own craft business. Check it out and let me know if I can help you too:

I promise to keep posting here as well and apologize for such a long delay; it really didn't seem like that long!
