Beth: I don't know what possessed me to write this as I never write to people I don't know, but I have just ordered a dragon's tears bracelet and can't wait to get it. Hopefully it will bring me some good luck & magic in 2006. For some odd ball reason I started reading your journal and got to the pictures of your new puppy and the Northern Lights. How breathtaking they must be in person. It actually brought tears to my eyes, but then I am a little overly sensitive these days as my husband & I were

Becky: Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. How do you like the mud/spring season this year?
Kandice: Beautiful journal!! I love all the pictures. :)
A Sparks: Thanks, Nan, for the pictures. Skippy is a handsome dude, and I expect he knows it. The Northern Lights are awesome. But cold.
PieLTang: So sorry to learn that Greg had an accident almost broke his finger by a log, but it surely is extremely painful, hope the doctor gave him some medicines to ease the pain, I pray that he is going to get better soon.Good Luck with your shows at Seattle and San Francisco.Love to all, Mom
hkmouse: Hi! I seem to have found your blog. I have no idea how you function in a Maine winter. Orange county, California is as far north as I ever want to live!
Arianna: I like the part about your cats tail catching on fire!

So I was going to post about my experience with the New England Products Trade Show this past weekend but then I saw these pending posts for the blog and I just had to share them before I delete the posts.  Here is the beginning of one:

"Morning till morning, than silica gel, you now echinacea is alike lily s especially catholics, we have a color wheel for its up for another and master"

There are links to what look like flower sales websites but I didn't follow them as the rest of the posts are so stupid.  Look like some foreign scam artists who don't speak English but what they wrote was so funny I had to share it.

Here is another:

"Wildflowers  inrest of success of cut the lily,   roses we said before a sincere respect to and greatly from acne, 000 or  gardenjournal, coffee."

Of course then all use different names but the IP address is the same for all the posts.

"Journals and receive what can help. Spiritual soulmate is there are you. Dna number of the best dating."

Yes DNA is very  important for dating these days......

"Whether the juniper tincture, to spread: this node: i love with tendrils and vigorous. "

OK THEN, I'd like to spread my vigorous tendrils around their throats.

At best this was a very poor attempt to add some spam to my blog, at worst these sites are scam sites.  The words don't even make sense.

Humorous though.... LOL....

Makes you wonder....

Nan

professionally I'm an information security geek, and the fact that these all come from the same IP address is yelling "targeted attack" to me, albeit a relatively unsophisticated one. Nobody wastes time on spam these days without something to show for it - if you take credit cards you can guess what they're after.
Or they might just be after your own account contents.
Either way I hope you've got your shields up and energized!
