Nan: The mud wasn't too bad this year but the rain! Sheesh.. I think it rained for 30+ days straight. The sun is shining now though so I won't complain. Winter is Lonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg but I love the fire place so we deal. It did get old in late Feb/early March. Now it's black fly season.... joy of joys.... ah well.. it's not a home it's an adventure Nan
Becky: Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. Welcome to 2008! Happy New Year

Happy New Year and welcome back to the Glass Menagerie.  We're having record snowfall here in Maine and the kids are very happy cause school is closed for one more day! An extended vacation is always welcome.

We spent a nice New Year's Eve at home with our friends Kimberlee & Alan and their two children. We rang in the new year in the traditional way by banging pots and pans and staying up as long as we could .. for me that was around 4am. We played board games, had some tasty treats and some vino.  It was an enjoyable way to pass into 2008!

Tech Notes:

I found this thing called Lemonade(tm) which allows users to add a little Lemonade stand type of store to their site and I've added one called Gallery 222 on which I offer glass art from other artists around the world.  I hope you like it!

Greg, Arianna and I have all begun to play World Of Warcraft and boy is it fun.  A big timesuck, but fun.
