Nan: The mud wasn't too bad this year but the rain! Sheesh.. I think it rained for 30+ days straight. The sun is shining now though so I won't complain. Winter is Lonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg but I love the fire place so we deal. It did get old in late Feb/early March. Now it's black fly season.... joy of joys.... ah well.. it's not a home it's an adventure Nan
Becky: Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. What a Day!

Yesterday I was in the house doing some laundry when I heard water running in the bathroom. I thought maybe I had left the water dripping in the sink for the cats or something but OMG was I wrong.  Greg was upstairs taking a shower and the water was coming up out of the downstairs shower and the toilet!!!! I ran up and pounded on the shower for him to TURN IT OFF.... seems the pipe had a clog in it and it backed up all over the bathroom. Sheesh.

But wait there's more....

So I get in the car to pick up the kids from school and the tire is making a funny noise; I thought there was mud on the tires or something. When I hit the black top I realized I had a flat tire.  So I call Greg to come on down and see...

Luckily my friend, Joy, was over and she took me to pick up the kids in her car.

Some days are just like that....
