Nan: The mud wasn't too bad this year but the rain! Sheesh.. I think it rained for 30+ days straight. The sun is shining now though so I won't complain. Winter is Lonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg but I love the fire place so we deal. It did get old in late Feb/early March. Now it's black fly season.... joy of joys.... ah well.. it's not a home it's an adventure Nan
Becky: Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. OMG - The dog got sprayed by a skunk.

Stupid Dog. I just wrote this whole thing and then hit Cancel by mistake so this is the short version. The whole house, yard and dog stunk.  The house is 98% clear as is the yard.  The dog is now about 85% skunk free.

To be honest we have 2 black and white cats so his confusion is understandable.  The skunk isn't so understanding.  What a horror.


On another front, my kiln malfunctioned and ruined about 30 Dragonfire(tm) pendants.  It just didn't shut off and they became one big puddle. Oy.

What a weekend.
