Nan: The mud wasn't too bad this year but the rain! Sheesh.. I think it rained for 30+ days straight. The sun is shining now though so I won't complain. Winter is Lonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg but I love the fire place so we deal. It did get old in late Feb/early March. Now it's black fly season.... joy of joys.... ah well.. it's not a home it's an adventure Nan
Becky: Enjoyed your journal. Reminds me of when we lived in Maine, '78-'89. You like the same things about Maine I do. My husband and I have been doing Atkins for 3 years now. He's better at it than I am. But, basically, we think it's a pretty healthy way to eat, so long as you don't go extreme for very long. You have beautiful jewelry. This and That

Well I had to make an emergency trip to New York to see my Mother last week. She was rushed to the hospital and we all thought she was having a heart attack.  We're pretty sure this was caused by a reaction to Predisone. Man I hate doctors.  Mom seems to be ok now for the most part.

I also wanted to share with you a company that I just love. Check out Avena Botanicals in Rockport, Maine. This company is run entirely by women.  They create a line of herbal products for well being and health as well as offer classes. I haven't visited them in person but hope to take a garden tour next spring.

We 'did' the Common Ground Fair a few weeks ago and it was great. Thanks to all of you who visited us in our booth.

We will be 'doing' a show in Boston during the first weekend of November at the Trade Center. I'll post more info when I find it, LOL.

Anyway, I'm way behind in my work now so I'd better scoot and get to it....
